We have released the basis of this feature. See here: https://vote.seibert-media.net/changelog/add-metadata-to-your-checklists-in-atlassian-jira-and-confluence - Still working on the filters in our admin area.

I've just tested a first version of this. Please reach out to us, if you'd like to have a demo and want to give feedback.

Ask for the person's name who filled out the checklist, rather than a signature
Cameron Clancy
We have a non-profit with volunteers using the checklist and a signature is a bit heavy to ask of them in that case. However asking for their name would be beneficial to identify who completed it.

We are about to implement metadata in checklists. This will help you to fulfill this wish as well: https://vote.seibert-media.net/checklists-for-atlassian/p/add-meta-info-for-checklist-templates

We are planning to implement configurable meta-information for checklists
Samuel Lerch
We created a concept for this feature and are planning to implement this as a first iteration of metadata-enriched checklists:
If you are interested in more details about the concept, feel free to contact me, and I will speak with you about it.

I could imagine that adding a note field for the checklist in general could allow anonymous people to add their name. Apart from that we hope that the introduction of a mobile app and social logins will reduce the anonymity of checklist users in the future.

Martin Seibert: Just flagging that we use Scroll Viewport plug-in to take advantage of anonymous/non-logged in users to Confluence for larger teams that aren't office based. This is critical to one of our customers and may mean that the mobile app is less important. FYI.
Martin Seibert
Cameron Clancy: Interesting thought. Thanks.
