Adding conditional formatting to numberfields (New Fieldtype)
Kavitha Vaikunthavasan
Hi Janik Kalinka,
could you further elaborate on the conditional formating?
Currently, our Advanced Formula Field is such a field, where you can also configure colour based on value. Have you tried it out yet?
Here is the documentation for our Advanced Formula Field: https://awesomecustomfields.wikipage.io/c/77037570/advanced+formula
If you need further assistance or would like to exchange on your use-case feel free to schedule a call: https://calendly.com/awesome-custom-fields-demo

Hi Kavitha Vaikunthavasan,
as far as I know you can only do calculations with the Advanced Formula Field based on existing fields in my project. I can then display the results of the calculation differently using conditional formatting.
However, I am looking for the possibility to create an input field (e.g. number field) and define a conditional formatting directly here.
For example, if I enter a number > 0 in the field, the number should be colored green in the view screen. I don't want to perform a calculation upfront, instead I would like a conditional formatting based on my input.
I hope my request has become a little clearer. :)

Hi Janik Kalinka
yes, it is more clear now thank you. I will add the feature request to our backlog.
You can also add the jira number field to the Advanced Formula Field without any other calculations, and the conditional formatting/ colour change will take place. This is a workaround, but we will keep you posted if we have any updates on this as well.
Thank you so much for your valuable input.
Cheers
Kavitha
