Hi, this feature is already available in Navigation Menus. This is the way to show a menu in only one specific space:
- Create a global menu and set in on not visible.
- Create a second menu and name it for example Marketing.
- Go to your Marketing space (or any space you want to assign a menu to) and assign it a space category. Let's call the space category "marketing" for example.
- Go back into the configuration of Navigation Menus and assign the menu the space category "marketing". The menu now will only appear in spaces with the space category "marketing"

I agree with this. I only want a menu to be one Space and not the others. Therefore, the category function does not really solve this.

With the newest version of Navigation Menus for Confluence it is now possible to use space categories to display different menus in different spaces. We hope you enjoy the new feature!

Thank you all for your feedback!
I’m one of the UX-Designers working on the navigation app. There are several ways we could implement this feature. If you are interested I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss the details so we can design this app to best meet your needs. Looking forward to more feedback :)

Yes I Agree with this Too!!! Please make it possible to create a menu depending on the area you are into! Thank you.

Agree 100%. We have a couple of main spaces, with lots of content, and would like menus for these two spaces. In addition we have about 100+ other spaces that are have a more limited team or project target group - these spaces should not have the menus as it will only be distracting and take the users out of the context of the space they are in.

Hello Thomas,
thank you for you feedback! Do I understand it right, that you need a menu only for a few spaces and don't want a menu at all for the other spaces?

Thamara Adler: I have the same request, the menu appearing on one space only and not the rest. Each space would need it's own menu if they wanted it but definitely not a 'global' menu across all spaces, just the selected one that requires it
