As of June 2022, when I rearrange items via drag and drop, the links break on the menu.

If the menu is active, clicking a link does not take me anywhere. In fact, it does not recognize a link as existing (URL does not appear on hover). The bug seems to affect items on the same level, as sublevel items are not affected (see images).

The bug affects all menu items on the same level even if their position did not change due to the drag and drop.

The bug occurs if the menu is active and if the menu is hidden at the time of the drag and drop.

The bug was seen on the latest Google Chrome browser, and with a script-blocking plugin enabled and disabled.

Current workaround is to delete all menu items at the same level and recreate the menu.
